Number Through Print

These four images are promoting maths and number to 6-8 year old's using multiplication rhymes. The work is produced using letterpress and lino prints which is then coloured in using Photoshop.

The Robot Uprising

These five images are a sequence of events of when a man takes his new 'house helpers' for granted. I feel that the sequence achieved what I set out to do which was make a funny and compelling story. The works are all painted with the speech bubbles being edited in using Photoshop afterwards. My knowledge of Photoshop is becoming wider and I'm beginning to feel a lot more confident with the software. My favourite of the images has to be the last one because it shows the human getting his comeuppance.

Sequence ideas

These ideas from my sketched are me trying to get my head around what the place would like. I set out to make a house that look like a oldish person lived there.

To make the viewer focus on the areas I want them to, I was thinking of blacking out the other rooms. This would help the view understand what is going on.

Protagonist

Here where a few designs I did in my sketchbook for my protagonist. I feel that the outcome is what I wanted to achieve- a friendly, helpful looking robot.

When I was going through the process of making my protagonist, I decided to change joints on the arms. They didn't look quite right so changed it to be looking straight at them which I think works much better.

Photoshopped Robots

A few ideas for what I wanted my protagonist to look like for the sequential project.
